By the end of January 2017, Ukraine sold food products worth 31 billion UAH, which is 24.7% more than in January 2016.
It has been reported by the press service of Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine with reference to the State Statistics Service of Ukraine.
According to the report, food processing industry accounted for 18% of the total industrial production of the country.
It is noted that 28% of the total output of the food processing industry was exported.
It”s worth to mention that the sales of the food industry products in 2016 increased by 13% and amounted to 381 billion UAH.
