In January-March 2017, Ukraine exported 267.4 KMT of sugar, which is 9 times more than in the same period a year earlier.
This is reported by the Ukrainian Agrarian Confederation (UAC).
According to the report, export of sugar this year has already brought $131.5 million to the economy, which accounted for 1.27% of all Ukrainian exports proceeds.
“In addition, money, received for the first three months of 2017 account for 57% of the sugar export revenue if compared to the whole last year”, – the UAC says.
It is noted that the main buyers of Ukrainian sugar in January-March 2017 were – Cote d”Ivoire (12.3%), Sri Lanka (12.2%) and Myanmar (9.1%).
